Minutes before leaving for community cafe and now Specsavers I discover no landline, no broadband. BT reckon no fault so will unplug phone when I get home. Limited internet on phone.

Thanks Susie. I have just about managed to tether my phone to my iPad. I couldāve connect yesterday, as too many devices showing up so had to unpair a few. I also have someoneās nearby Sky Q showing up, and a Toshiba something.
So the quick story is, BT think my router power or fuse has blown, so theyāve had to order me a new one. Hoping to get it by about Thursday, then I will need to reset all my devices (which includes three security cameras, iPad, Ring doorbell, pc) to the new security code. Argh!

Morning Susie. Still using the phone where possible. Been out for a new extension tower to accommodate all the plugs. New router expected anytime time up until 2pm. Hope it arrives in time for me to view the live stream funeral at 2.
Router delivered much later, but all ok and everything working. Just not in the mood to reset everything.

Most of my devices are back online, with just the garden camera to do now. Itās too cold to be out there. I have to faff about getting it off the clamp, physically resetting it then doing all that needs doing to reconnect.
Hoping to enjoy my Ā£6 Toby meal lunchtime. Nobody has responded to my texts asking if anyone wants to join me, including one lady who I messaged twice. Pffft! She might get the cold shoulder when I see her on Monday. Blue ticks showed she has most likely seen the messages.
Itās a good job you know what you are doing Janet, I wouldnāt have a clue.
Stacky and his family are off to Tobys today as well.

Dentist visit was ok. She cleaned my teeth, back in 9 months (already have appt).
Might go out to the big stores south of town this morning. B&M, the Range, Poundstretcher, new Sainsburyās, and big Morrisons. Could top up with petrol while there.

Our meeting went well. Looks like we may organise a trial stay, sometime towards the end of November. I will book a Premier Inn or Travelodge stay in Norwich so Iām not too far away, in case of problems. If successful, and I try more stays, I can go further afield. Not planning on London this year, though.

Not bothering with town now but if I take the car to the community cafe I could divert there afterwards, before coming home. Just need to remember feeding Holly completely before I go out.
Changed bed, thatās washing. Tried to make a donation for my late step niece but trying online or even over the phone has proved difficult. The only option now is to try paying in to the post office for Children in Need, her chosen charity. I wanted to give to the hospice where she died, but have been unable to.
