Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Good morning all, another beautiful day here.

Off to the Doctors this morning, then later on walk down the sea wall.

Have a nice day all.

Morning.

I will go into town this morning quickly. Get the milk I forgot yesterday and drop some books into the library. Sat up till 11pm after dog walk to finish one. Then out to the park for our Monday meet up.

Good morning all, another beautiful sunny day here.

Only need to pick up my meds today.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

Spots of rain in the garden earlier, so I didn’t get Holly’s mat out. Off to the cafe this morning anyway, so will see later if she can go out there.

Morning all.

Off to the garden centre again with the same ladies.

It rained in the night. Tried to take H outside for a toilet but we started to get wet. Urgh.

Morning all.

Had a great time at the garden centre. I bought a trolley load of stuff, including 5 plants, boxes of various solar lights, biscuits for Holly, and various other stuff. As I was using the app for the first time I was offered a 10% off voucher, did I want to use it. Yes please. Brought the bill down to £83, almost as much as my nhs pension, which went in yesterday.

We stopped for coffee then one of our mutual friends came over to say hello. She’s the lady who bought a bungalow this year and had a terrible time getting tradespeople in. Been let down by an electrician apparently, so still her kitchen isn’t complete.

My roofer replied to my message saying he might get to me next week. Hmmphp.

Put up some of the lights and had a look after dog walk as it was getting darker, and they all looked quite nice.

Morning all.

Spoke to sil yesterday. All ok. But we just have to keep fingers crossed he can get through the next few months, or the first year.

In Morrisons for over 60s breakfast deal. Waiting for sausages to cook, apparently. Then will do some shopping n nip to library.

Good morning all, another beautiful day here at the seaside, no plans.
Put the washing machine on, change the bed sheets, wash my hair etc.
Might do a bit of weeding, see how I feel, as my back is killing me.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

Rather overcast now, and much cooler. Not complaining.

Hope your back pain eases, Susie.

Going into town now, when I can get the dog back into the house.

Its a bit chilling outside today and very grey, hope tomorrow is better.

Morning.

Yes, been raining. Guess we will be inside the cafe this afternoon.

Morning all.

Good morning all.

No plans for today, just popping into Tesco for a few bits.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

A trip to town for me this morning. Need a few things and will browse in the library.

Morning all.

I had a massive spend up in town yesterday. A new shopping trolley, expensive hand wash (no nasty parabens or SLS), new clothes and other bits.

No plans for today yet. Having a lazy morning till I decide what to do.

Morning Janet,

Hope your back has improved a bit, mine is killing Me.

Went into Gorleston this morning, had to do a few things there.

Tomorrow i’m getting the bus into Great Yarmouth, want to go into Market Gate Shopping Mall, see if I can buy some clothes for myself.

Have a nice day all.

Susie, I too want GY for some sweets. There is a fab little shop on the outside of the new market. Problem is leaving Holly for me to do a wee. Can I meet you up there one day, please? And I can ask you to hold on to her if I need to. Thanks.

Of course you can Janet, it would have to be during the week sometime, I normally go early, as it takes 45 mins on the bus and goes into Market Gate bus station.

Just let me know when you want to go, so that I can make sure I haven’t got any other appointments I.e hospital, doctors etc.

Susie xx

Thanks, if we can go probably Wednesday next week, when I have nothing planned. Just so I have someone with me for a toilet stop before I make my way back. Then I won’t have to worry about leaving her at home.

My replacement bus pass should have arrived by then. I normally drive and park in Royal Avenue for the bus stop. Too far to walk Holly: she’d take too long to sniff everywhere.
