Joined some of the ladies (and a husband) for a pub quiz last night. Their usual companions couldn’t make it so was asked to make up the numbers. A couple of the women couldn’t go but not sure even if we had them that we would have done better. An appalling second to last! How embarrassing,

And music questions, name the artiste. People I’ve never even heard of.
Still it was an interesting fun night.

I will soon need bread and milk, and the library, so am thinking of getting the bus into town this morning. Could continue with clear out later. Our bus times have changed, so I’d best not get to the stop too early, but saying that, they’ve increased the frequency. Half hour now, rather than hourly. That’s progress.
Ours has always been half hour here Janet at Corton to Lowestoft during the week and Saterday, only hourly on Sundays.
That’s good. Ours has always been hourly, or a walk down another road to get the one inbetween, but ours stopped running too early in the afternoon. They will now run later, thankfully.
Our buses run from 6.15am until 11.45pm every day.

Yesterday I caught the bus to town, exchanged library books, and the one I had reserved, I started on when I got home and sat for hours reading. Big sis phoned in the afternoon and we had a long chat.
Today I shall return to the spare bedrooms, see how much headway I can make this time round.
An easy lunch: a frozen pie, mash and liquor meal to put in the oven.

Have to be out just after 9.30, as it’s the monthly church hall quiz that starts at 10.
Once home, will walk the dog, have some lunch, and then maybe do a bit more in the spare bedrooms. Talking to sis the other day we discussed my few spare days without the dog (which will be Easter weekend) and she suggested I do more while she’s not here, rather than going away again. I agreed, saying…well I still need to clean my garden path (applying patio cleaner and using my jet wash). And maybe could do a few trips to the tip or charity shop runs.
She will go from 14-21 April, I am away to Essex seeing family 14-17.

I had a another delivery of Corals yesterday, looks like one has died overnight.
I have another delivery arriving at lunch time and then time for a break to settle them all in.
Kinga is here for 4 hours, so abig shop for her to get I hope.

Corals are animals not plants,
Not only do they fight amongst themselves they can also detach from their fixings and then float around until they find somewhere better for them.
This is why I don’t buy any expensive Corals.
I had two dead on arrival today, being fully refunded by the seller , he had had issues with two other buyers.
Left in the van too long so overheated.
Just life, things go wrong.
