Had another deep clean and then in 3 weeks time a filling.
I am really annoyed as I think she is just after my money.
We have to go Private as there are no NHS Dentist anywhere now, so you expect good service, but the Dentist is a Retired Lady and she always turns up about half hour late, my appointment was at 9am, she turned up at 9.25am and I went in at 9.30am, came out at 10.05am, and even though she numbed the area it still hurt, and you would think that she would have done the filling while my mouth was numbed but no another appointment, another lot of money, so far I have paid her Ā£201.00. Also she only comes in on a Monday. I think I will look for another Private Dentist, one that is there all the time and comes in on time.
3 strings go int a pub and sit down. The first string goes up to the bar and ask for 3 beers, the barman said they donāt serve strings.
So the second string goes up to the bar and ask for 3 beers, the barman said they donāt serve strings.
The third string says to the other two " Tie me in a knot and loosen the ends". So the third string goes up to the bar and gets the beers ,the barman asks if he was a third string and the third string said " I am afraid not"
well it is a cold frosty morning so that might brighten up the day a bit
Iām taking the car back to the dealers for them to have a look at this afternoon.
When I put the indicators on I canāt hear the ticking & when we open the boot itās in total darkness, as is the inside of the car as soon as we shut the door. There should be a courtesy light surely but we canāt make it come on. Just niggly things but quite important to me.
No other plans except to call in Wetherspoons on way back from car dealers.
Speaking of dentists - yes I would definitely look for another one Susie. Yours doesnāt sound any good at all. You would expect better when paying private. I have got to book a dentist for Tony. He canāt hold off having new dentures any longer. We will have to pay private too. Luckily I have recommendations for a good one from three different people so am going to give them a ring today.

Cold, foggy, and totally miserable out.
Dentist. I have been with my one for years. Still under NHS. But instead of a six monthly checkup, it is now every 12 months.
If anyone has to go private, I expect that you would get an appointment like yesterday.
I expect that I shall have to go to Sainsburys again with my daughter. Her in-laws who are not very well, will need a few bits that I do whilst she does hers. Donāt tell anyone, but I get the nectar points on my card.
I will nip round to the retail park for a gift card then post two birthday cards. The sorting office is round the corner with collection later today. Then I hope to go straight to the allotment and try for an hourās work, before going back home to me little dog.
I emailed a gardening company on Monday asking if they can quote me for several jobs, but still waiting for a reply. I could do with some help digging on the allotment, just to get me started, and also to cut down the shrubs in my back garden. I will give it another day or so then try asking on social media.

Yes another cold and Misty morning here, but now seems to be clearing fast.

I have to go to the bank first to get another card. This branch ( Halifax ) is closing in April. So I still have a pass book and I need to transfer that to a card.
Did you hear, that in the future there will be no cash as we know it. It will be digital money.
I have sent out a message on NextDoor, asking for help with my allotment and cutting down back garden shrubs. I tried some digging yesterday but the ground was frozen again. Sigh.
So seeing as it is cold again today I will try to make a start with indoors. One of these days I must get my spare bedrooms sorted out. The big middle one is so dark and depressing (the wall and carpet colours donāt help), and piled high, so I need to get to grips with it. Flipping lockdown. I could have had the two of them decorated and new carpets in, had that not happened. They donāt get any sun until later in the afternoon, keeping them dark.

Not so cold here this morning, but still miserable looking.
I went to Halifax yesterday, and they could not help with a card. They said that I need to go on line, or to a bigger branch. I spent nearly an hour online, filling out the questionnaire, and also answering security codes on the phone. At the end. I was told canāt have another card.
So I shall go visit the bigger branch a short bus ride. (The high st one in the market that Jan knows.)
Cleaning lady coming today. Thatās it.
Janet I hope you get the help youāre asking for with the allotment & garden. People on Nextdoor can be quite helpful.
My speed awareness course was ok yesterday but I must admit a lot of what they said went in one ear & out the other. It lasted 3 hours & wasnāt as boring as I had anticipated.
Iām off to my cardiac rehab class this morning - only two more to go before Iām discharged as fit ( I hope)lol
No other plans except a walk round the pond with Tony this afternoon.
Had one reply, Carol. I have asked if he is a proper gardener and has the right tools. Whoever does the shrubs in my garden will need long cutters or a good ladder.
