I have my WM going, a clothes wash. Doubt it can hang outside later but could get the dehumidifier going to help dry.
Lunch today will be a tinned steak and kidney pudding, which I bought in B&M yesterday. Shall do some veg and potatoes with (might air fry the latter, or pan fry. Not sure yet.)
Good morning all.
Yup, raining here as well.
That did not stop Minnie insisting that we go out, which we did. One wet man and one wet dog.
I donāt know what I shall be doing today, and I imagine not a lot.
No, nothing been put on there yet. I know people have phones, but expect most internet would be down for them.
A 6.30 alarm call today. Off to see a nurse practitioner at 9.10 about my cough, so up early to make sure all is done. Walking H in about 15m, after breakfast. Will need to leave for surgery before 8.45.
If I donāt wait long then hope to get to retail park after.
Iāve just filled an e-consult form in for my doctor. Since my heart attack I feel i need medication for anxiety.
Every little twinge or ache in the region of my heart/ribs I think it might be another heart attack. I canāt go on living in fearā¦
No plans for today - It depends when the doctor rings me.
I am very slowly, with Tonys help, giving the house a clean. I did say slowly. Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen window & got Tony scrubbing the floor with a long handled scrubber. More of the same today - but taking it slowlyā¦
Good morning allā¦
Late again but who is counting.
It is also Misty here, with the sun burning it up.
My central heating is playing up. It seems to have a mind of its own.
I donāt have it on timer anymore, as I just put it one when needed.
I was in bed and at about 11, I thought it is warm in here. Checked the rad and it was hot. I already had manually turned it off at 10. So down I went and flicked the mains switch off. Sort it out later.
Off to Sainsburys now for my list of stuff that I need.
Thanks Susie. Trying again to get rid of this cough. She heard some crackle in my left side so has prescribed antibiotics for now. I am back middle of next week, she will listen to my chest again, and if no improvement, might send me for an x Ray. She did also mention an inhaler, but we will try the ABs first.
Good morning all.
Overcast and cold here this morning.
Been out with Minnie, and the council bloke is out on the field with the big tractor cutting draining slots in the ground.
No plans to go anywhere today, but that could all change when my daughter comes here later.
When I have done my morning chores, I shall snuggle down, and carry on with reading the story on my kindle.
A dull & misty start to the day here.
Iāve no particular plans - just want to get some housework done.
Granddaughter Taylor is coming over later to write on my Christmas card envelopes to help me. Just lately Iāve noticed I canāt seem to hold a pen properly - I think Iāve got arthritis coming in my fingers.
At least our fog has lifted. Bit milder today, I think.
Cafe meet soon, but only just having breakfast.
Emjay, my favourite time of the day. I too get things done in the morning, have lunch, dog walk, settle down to watch Doctors, and there I stay, ipad and book to hand.
Hairdressers at 9am, then post my Xmas Cards, then Chemist pick up a prescription, then into Gorleston Town, visit, Wilko, Butchers, QD, Bakers, Iceland, Morrisonās, then last of all have a big breakfast at Morrisonās for our lunch.
Iām meeting my friend Chris in the mill town of Belper today. First time since my HA.
Weāll have a steady slow walk on the flat to the lovely River gardens & have lunch in the cafe there. Then a walk back to the town & a browse round the shops.
It feels so good to be getting back to normal but a bit apprehensive at the same time.
Shall do a lot of hoovering today. Well overdue. Then tomorrow I will go back to town. Return a library book that is due and has a reserve so I cannot renew it. A pension goes in, so I will withdraw my monthly budget. And return a bathroom light bulb to Wilko. Today, though, itāll be housework.
