There have been far more, ( & some very obvious,) brown envelope moments when it comes to friends & influence within the Tory party over the past few years. So why is a single named Chinese agent now an issue?
Yes, grubby friends & money for influence is an issue within parliament, but especially so with the dishonourable Boris Johnsons party. So why not deal with the whole integrity thing?
Or is this only an issue because it did not result in a directorship for, or covid contract from a Tory cabinet minister?
