If ghosts can walk through walls, why do they not fall through the floor?
Ooooh, you silly billy.
Ghosts don’t weigh anything, so gravity won’t pull them down through the floor.

I am keeping an opened mind on the subject
having a couple of unexplained events that happened . One I have mentioned before. The other was when we moved to the bungalow at the kennels our dog refused to go anywhere near the bathroom. Before it was. A house and now the bathroom was originally in the same area was what we were told where a milk made died due to an accident . This was told to us by a local who new a lot of local history about the property also my son claimed he saw a young girl swinging on the gate dressed in old fashioned clothes. Makes one wonder doesn’t it
I have never seen manifestations but used to often get feelings and even have “conversations” with entities.
Never was I frightened, simply fascinated.
At one point I did become concerned.
Certain “events” had me doubting all I thought I knew about what happens when a person dies.
Would I meet my long-ago tormentors once I died?
Anyone who is married or equivalent will come across unexplained situations on a daily basis. ![]()

Because those who belive in them belive they walk the world as it existed when they lived. So if a floor was lower or higher. Or if a wall did not exist then. Then that is how it is for them now.
Has anyone seen the British TV story The Stone Tape? It was a ghost story & aired back in the early 70’s & it is why people now talk about buildings or places holding a memory.
Writer Nigel Kneale had written a story where a voice held on a telephone line, so when he was asked to write a Ghost Story for Christmas for the BBC. He revived the idea & created the Stone Tape Theory.
Nigel is possibly best know for his Story Quatertmass.
When I looked at houses here there was a lovely house with HUGE yard in no HOA but across street from a Cemetery .
As far as wild life it would have been great especially snakes but I must admit though do not believe in ghosts and the price was great I could not bring myself to place an offer as was bit to much as far as scenery for me
On the whole, there is little doubt that we understand many things, but only a tiny fraction of everything that happens. So, it seems a bit foolish to completely discount out of hand those which may initially seem odd, solely on the basis that there isn’t any empirical evidence for it.
in my kitchen the other day. some may have seen before and all about it so let those new to wonder what??
Apparently there is a haunted pub in York where a Legion of Roman soldiers are seen marching through with no legs. At the time when the Romans visited York, it was suggested that the road was several feet lower, before the foundations of the public house were laid.
It has been claimed that many people have witnessed the same illusion.
I wonder if, under certain circumstances, a sort of magnetic record has been left in certain places, and some people are able to view these recordings?
Exactly @OldGreyFox . I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that at at the precise moment my mother passed away (confirmed by a phone call within 2 minutes after ) while I was dozing on the settee while my wife took our children to her mother, I awoke, fully lucid and hearing my mother’s voice ask “is that you Peter?”
I can’t explain it, who can?
We know many things but we know nothing.
A long time Worker walked thru my maintenance shop to the Warehouse meeting one morning.
It is a shortcut if the doors are up, which are most days.
I said," hi, he responded I’m late for the meeting."
A few minutes later I realize he had recently died. Buried.
I walked the couple hundred yards up to the warehouse
meeting and he wasn’t there. His name was Hank.
If he hadn’t walked thru that Thursday 2003 morning, I would never believe it!
He was our Men’s League softball coach and we had a connection.
Maybe The Lord Gives Us these Connections to help believers?
It is very personal to me and I have let only a few know about it.
That is it. A ghost story for Christmas.
