There are loads of threads talking about Bucket lists, and hope and all that, what about a thread about diminishing days and stuff that ain’t goin to happen, I will start.
I am never going to see the Northern Lights.
im never going to sing The Hills are alive with the Sound of Music , on top of Mam Tor ever again …
Sorry to hear that Eliza.
I will never see the pyramids.
Never going to do Route66, on any sort of vehicle.
Never going to see the Brexit Benefits.
Never going to be LTP.
Im never going to do another 24hr Bike Le Mans
Stop it Eliza, there is only so much compassion available.
Hi
Yes, I had a bucket list, made years ago when my health was much better.
Managed to do quite a bit of it, however realism happens, so a new Bucket List doing things electronically, sharing other peoples videos of things.
Long haul travel is a complete nono for me me now, immersing myself in n videos of others is not.
Great fun and turns a negative into a positive.
I still have a few things left to do but there are a few things I doubt I will do again like flying to Europe (just too far) but I hope to drive round Australia again to see some places I missed last time.
La Nina has been a right downer as far as travel has been concerned but it seems to be failing at last. I am hoping for a short road trip next month
I’m never going to have a bucket…
Life without a bucket is not worth living.
Not if your an anti bucketlister!
I’m not ready to admit I won’t be doing stuff I always wanted to do… I’m ancient but maybe there is still time. The thing is things seem less important as you get older its finding the motivation to get on and do stuff… and the time.
Just remembered I will probably never see New York as hubby refuses to go he says its his idea of hell so I can’t force him…you never know though I might go on my own one day.
When the road goes no further than what I see
When past here it’s nowhere to go
i’m not putting holes in my bucket
I’m still busy filling mine
Go with girlfriends it’s good shopping, don’t let the exchange put you off.
I enjoyed walking the converted Railtrack garden in the sky ,the Empire state , Hop on hop off tour , helicopter flight around Manhattan, Chinatown , horse drawn carriage Central Park…we enjoyed NY
We cruised into NY and cruised out again, so we just did everything we could jam in the almost 3 days
Otherwise yes I agreed with Mr S it’s a tad hellish in places.
My apologies to any Americans reading this.
Me I haven’t a bucket although …piano lessons might be nice.
