Last year, Lynne hinted that the BST Hyde Park appearance could have been ELO’s last ever performance, saying: “It seems like the perfect place to do our final show.”
Lynne was “heartbroken” not to be performing, the band said, and was “currently in the care of a team of doctors who have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time, nor will he be able to reschedule”.
I’m sure he’ll be back and it’s definitely not the end of the line.
Any excuse to post an ELO from the early days.
Shame, but he did the Birmingham Gig, but on the local media was over shadowed, by Black Sabbath, still fitting that the last one was Brum.

Assuming there was only one Hyde Park appearance.
I will have cause to drive again, Shard End, where it all started, and wonder.
Saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union Avenue
Followed him up to the gates of Graceland
And watched him walk right through
Shard End, Memphis, who cares
