There were news reports of this a day or so ago. P&O ferries still not operating and some other company had 3 of its 6 ships in repair.
Nothing strange about it Donks. Think about it … all those vehicles are waiting to board ferries that are in very short supply, whereas in the opposite direction, only a few and far between are docking to let vehicles off.

Unless the outgoing trucks are empty ??

Think things have been made worse by increase in holiday makers leaving the UK which is probably fewer than incoming. Dunno though, just guessing.
