Breaking - Joe Biden wins US presidential election

As the song says “there maybe trouble ahead”

And as long as he doesn’t get assassinated.

I sincerely hope so because now the enemy, and they are, will have tasted blood and won’t want to stop.

Reading a book last night in bed…by Frank Herbert, The Children of Dune and this phrase popped out.

Good governance never depends upon laws, but upon the personal qualities of those who govern. The machinery of government is always subordinate to the will of those who administer that machinery. The most important element of government, therefore, is the method of choosing leaders.”

This important element seems to be missing in the US

That’s politics worldwide - 145,934,462 people in Russia, led by Putin; 65,324,114 people in France, led by Macron; 67,886,011 people in the UK, led by BJ …

Americans killing Americans on their home ground that will please the Chinese, Russians, Iranians etc etc etc

But didn’t they have a political background before being ‘elected’ unlike the US system which requires a big wallet or a career in the movies?

Will Biden make it to January 20th?

One guess who’s dolly has been thrown out the pram? Now in a huge sulk

Well, Putin was a KGB officer, Macron was a banker and BJ was a journalist …

Then Kamala Harris would become the first black woman president.

Isn’t she older than Biden?!

She is 56

No, a lot younger - Kamala Devi Harris born October 20, 1964 - age 56 …

Oh! Oops

Are you thinking of the well-known Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, who is aged 80 … ?

Biden will not be able to better the country with regards to the coronavirus than Trump was able to. The American people who voted for Biden are deluded if they think he can. Biden and his Wife are huge supporters of immigration and the asylum system. His wife has been teaching English to immigrants and asylum seekers for years.

Everything Trump did on wanting to halt the flow of immigrants pouring in from Mexico will now be undone. With Biden at the helm, America is now once again an open country to one and all. More cheap labour here they come. If Americans start losing their jobs in the thousands, they know who to blame and it wont be Trump

Biden is a career politician which means he will lie and cheat to get what HE wants and not what the American people want. Everything that has been done with China will be undone because Biden will want to sooth relations with the Chinese CCP (political point scoring to keep him in power). Trump was trying to make America great again, job’s for Americans, stop other countries from around the world from relying on the US too much, to get countries to put more of their own resources to tackle problems rather than rely on the US to provide it all. Trump was slowly putting an end to that but Biden will put a stop to it.

Any talk of a 2nd civil war or blood in the streets is absolutely ridiculous. Are there people who actually believe Trumps rhetoric that there has been a widespread voter fraud ? Yes, most certainly. Are those people angry ? Yes, absolutely. Do they have guns ? Guns galore. However, I see no possibility that they will start murdering Democrats. Could there be an isolated nut case who acts out his anger and becomes violent ? Yes. However, I guarantee you that the full weight of federal and state law enforcement will come thundering down on any ‘organized’ and violent actions. After some agitated grumbling, and extremist rhetoric, peace will reign and the world’s oldest democracy will continue on, as before Trump.

Democracy in action. You get what you vote for

I am not sure America actually is the oldest democracy Bakerman - although I suppose it depends on how you interpret a democracy. See below:-
