Breaking - Joe Biden wins US presidential election

WRONG ! A president can issue an executive order, however it is ALWAYS subject to what the courts say, particularly the U.S. Supreme Court. History is rife with cases of a presidential executive order that has been shut down in the Supreme Court.

A president can lead and sometimes shape public opinion BUT when he tries to go against the Bill of Rights, he is treading on thin ice. The U.S. Congress and the opposing political party watches every thing a president does. This is one of the great strengths of the American democracy.

and how would this be going against the bill of rights ?

And don’t lecture me on American democracy, the 2020 election is a farce.

Georgia recount by hand finds 2,500 new ballots that favour Trump by 2 to 1

Gabriel Sterling, an official with the Georgia secretary of state’s election team, revealed that of the newly discovered, uncounted votes, 1,643 were for Mr Trump, 865 for Mr Biden and 16 for Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen, according to the Associated Press, which is yet to declare a winner in the state. About 5,000,000 votes were cast in total in the state.

Technically:

This is not a recount. Instead it is an audit ordered by Republican Secretary of State in Georgia, Brad Raffensperger, which are routinely used by states to ensure their counting equipment and procedures work properly. Georgia state law requires an audit be conducted this year, where ballots are counted by hand and compared with machine tallies.

A recount, by contrast, would be conducted using the same scanners that tallied the results already released. This would only be done once all election results are certified by a state, which hasn’t happened yet.

After the audit, the losing party could request a recount which would be done by machine.

Will Trump the Grump denounce the audit as “rigged” or “fake” and demand a recount … :?:

The farce is the incumbent refusing to accept reality. It’s bizarre.

Indeed it is … :!:

Quite so.
Equally as bizarre as those in this country who still refuse to accept Brexit four years after the vote and despite a confirmatory General Election.

When a president attempts to silence social media, he is in direct violation of The Bill of Rights. (freedom of speech)

I’m sorry to say this but YOU ARE THE ONE DOING THE LECTURING. NOT ONLY ARE YOU A FOREIGNER, BUT YOU ARE TOTALLY UNEDUCATED IN HOW AMERICAN ELECTONS WORK.

When I have to audacity to explain to YOU how British P.M.'s are selected then you can complain.

Touché

Exactly ! Trump is obviously totally out of touch with reality. Unfortunately we have to endure another 64 days of his temper tantrum.

Keep your sombrero on

Your the one that think Biden is the president elect not me.

And while your shouting and hootin and a hollerin check out the court case between twitter and Facebook ongoing today.

Yes, me and nearly everyone who is not delusional. Heck, even most Republicans know it’s over.

But he isn’t.

Your making things up and being delusional.

I back out of this discussion. I have tried to educate you, but unfortunately you have closed your mind to reality.

Biden has won the election and no amount of twitter nonsense can change that.

Do you honestly think that there would have been any situation where Trump would accept election defeat? However super carefully and precisely it was carried out and however many checkers checked the checker, who checks the checking, he would never be happy with the process unless he was the winner. It’s simply the way he is programmed.

With all due respect and despite my personal belief that you are probably right, it is not either your place or that of the media to determine who has won the presidential election.

The responsibility for that decision is officially recognised as belonging to the GSA and the electoral college.
Neither has yet officially announced the president elect.
Such a delay is not unusual either.

Georgia laws required an “audit” of the votes, because of the closeness of the race. An audit differs from a “recount” in that an audit demands a hand count of every single ballot. When the audit is complete, Trump may then request a “recount” which would electronically tabulate each ballot.

The Georgia audit should be complete within 24 hours. At that time, the public will be notified of the tally.

I fully expect that Trump will formally request a RECOUNT.

If there was no evidence of fraud then yes, he would concede defeat. Even the most adamant of people accept defeat when the battle has been lost. Fraud was predicted way before the elections, so I’m surprised that this comes unexpectedly to some people, especially when the media and the polls called the result so wrong. My opinion is that the fraud would be buried in the Democrat landslide, but the Dems did not count on the sheer number of votes for Trump that exposed and drew suspicions to the count. When Pennsylvania stopped the count, then re-started it the next morning, this also drew a lot of suspicion, that and the growing evidence “like its coming at me through a firehose” (according to Sydney Powell) including whistle-blowers, video’s and then the evidence of tampering, software programmed to flip Trump votes to Biden, discovered thumb drives containing thousands of Biden votes etc related to the Dominion counting machines (a company already found guilty of fraud in 2016, a sponsor of the Clinton foundation and having an employee of Pelosi’s lobbyists … to name a few).

In the case of the USA elections, there is so much evidence of fraud its only reasonable for the President to exhaust every avenue to ensure democracy has been persevered during the election.

Don’t forget, voter fraud is not uncommon in the USA (or anywhere else) so its reasonable to use due diligence to ensure the correct outcome.

What we are seeing is not so much Trump vs Biden but the entire USA electoral system put through the courts. If Trump wins, elections will never be the same again, if Biden wins, elections will not be needed again. That’s how I see it and although I support Trump (I don’t like what he says, I don’t like his behaviour, but I do like what he has done for the USA) if Biden has won fair and square I’m cool with that. The problem is, I don’t believe he did and there is mounting evidence to support that as every day goes by.

I wonder who the recount will favour

Look at what’s happening in Detroit… coincidence ?

I don’t think so and if you read the case against Kathy Boockvar in Pennsylvania and the alleged evidence put forward by Sydney Powell, the admission by the head of the FEC (regarding electoral fraud) there is clearly a case to answer.

Read my post further up …

Biden has not won the election, only you and the media think that. The law and the courts need to go through the process of ruling out or admitting electoral fraud and then the president can be appointed.

Republican certifiers in Wayne county, Michigan back down after refusing to approve Biden win

Michigan’s largest county has reversed course and unanimously certified its presidential election results after Republicans first blocked the move in a party-line vote that threatened to temporarily stall official approval of Democrat Joe Biden’s win in the state.

The Wayne county board of canvassers acted after their 2-2 tie was condemned by Democrats, election experts and the meeting’s online spectators as a dangerous attempt to overthrow the will of voters.

The board met after days of unsuccessful litigation filed by Republican poll challengers and President Donald Trump’s allies. They claimed fraud during absentee ballot counting at a Detroit convention center but two judges found no evidence and refused to stop the canvassing process.

Biden crushed Trump in Wayne county, a Democratic stronghold, by more than a two-to-one margin and won the state by 146,000 votes, according to unofficial results.

These futile attempts to keep the moronic Trump in power are expensive and time consuming - in the meantime, Trump’s inaction is killing 2,000 US citizens a day …
