I agree with you Muddy. I don’t find him attractive either.
You must not have noticed, he didn’t leave her alone ,although she was alone in the car .
Do you see this? (I am holding up a fist! Ha!)
Actually, JBR. I have no trace of an Irish accent. I just speak like the Queen!
You are a queen, Angel. I’ve always said so.
Muddy, l was starting to think it was just me not finding him attractive. I don’t even think he is right for the part, there is something missing.
JBR, It’s a good job that l am not a bloke, you’re saying that to!
No, you’re certainly not a bloke, Angel!
Well tonight was a bit naughty!
Anyone else confused, or is it just me!
I found it disappointing. The plot has gone a bit all over the place…
Another excellent episode tonight! Yes, perhaps a bit too concerned with sex. No sooner had it started than she was touching herself up!
I’m so disappointed…have a feeling it’s headed for the ridiculous. Time will tell.
You beat me to it fender.
Known as 006.35A and a bit
Happens all the time at the Home office.
Yep, I’m confused too. The bomb scene was convincing though I thought.
Some questions for you…
Was the muslim researcher/speech writer (Tamir) being set up/framed?
What was in his briefcase he showed to David?
I’m off to look at the Guardian review!
Some interesting theories!
Was David running to protect his female colleague because he knew a bomb was about to go off?
What qualities do you think a bodyguard should have that this actor does not ?
Have you ever seen a bodyguard in action to say there is something missing in this one. ?
Just asking
I’m now part-thinking that David isn’t so much a bodyguard but another such “sniper” in disguise due to his past torment when he was in the Army and became injured. His PTSD now becoming so bad that he has possibly decided to go “undercover” and become part of a team that is out for payback using the Home Secretary as his target, albeit in a very carefully-planned assassination plot. In other words, he joined the special police with an ulterior motive.
When he awoke with fear when Keeley Hawes’ character disturbed him and almost strangled her, perhaps he almost went through with it to finish her off there and then.
Time will tell with that one.
Otherwise, it’s still a mightily-written story with so many twists and turns and has my attention such that I’m not sleeping in the mornings. I end up getting up to watch this damn thing! :o A great series.
Wow! Tense or what?!
Some big surprises, some scary moments, and plenty of confusion for my poor brain!
He can’t be much of a shot if he failed to hit his own head!
It was a blank.
