‘Sustainable’…
Have they changed the definition of ‘Sustainable’?

It used to have nothing to do with the environment when I went to school, it was more to do with ‘perpetual motion’ or something that would keep going for a long time…
But the environmentalists have hijacked it to suit their own purposes…
Like…Sustainable Energy…But it’s not sustainable is it… ![]()
Wind turbines don’t work if the wind doesn’t blow, and solar panels don’t produce electricity in the dark… ![]()
So from a customers point of view it’s not sustainable. Neither is all the metal, glass, lithium and cobalt needed to produce said energy… ![]()
So if Lithium, cobalt, metal and glass is classed as ‘Sustainable’ then why isn’t Coal, oil and natural gas classed as sustainable? There is probably more coal and oil present on the planet than lithium and cobalt…
Nothing in this world is ‘sustainable’ least of all electricity…The wind and sun might make it appear to be free energy, but in order to extract that energy you need a helluva lot of money and resources to make it possible…and none of those are sustainable… ![]()
