Besoeker with the vet today

Max on Wednesday…
We had the usual annual checks including the bloods. . Then we got a call from the vet on Friday stating that the tests were showing that Max had a serious problem and the vet said that Max needed to be in hospital. A shocker! The vet explained that he thought Max would be very lethargic.

Well, we’d had a couple of long walks earlier that afternoon and he was fine. The vet had a bit of a think about that and offered another explanation. The blood had been drawn early in the morning and it sat for too long. So the vet asked us to bring Max in for new samples this morning. They were fine…:slight_smile:

Glad Max is alright, Besoeker, but I hope the vet didn’t charge you twice if it was their mistake first time!

Yes, the vet was quite up front about that and we went to the main office where the have the facilities to do the samples right there.

I am having a problem with the Over 50’s forum. I have reset my password to try to resolve the issue but to no avail. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Besoeker, I haven’t had any problems today, but I wonder if it may be better to put this in the Technology thread? Or even General?
There are quite a few who are techno’s but they might not think of looking in the Pets thread, do you think?
Just a thought . . .
