Belfast ~ my recommendation

Went to see this new film yesterday.
Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Hugely entertaining, funny, sad, moving, gripping, best of all the children were absolutely delightful.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, it’s his story.
Didn’t even notice it was b&w!
Only one thing, although I could hear perfectly well I struggled to understand much of the dialogue as the accents were so strong.

Good to know. It’s streaming here and I’m ever searching for something entertaining to watch on these chilly evenings!

Ruthio, From the title of the film, l wondered if l did see it, would l find it harrowing?
I know you say it’s funny and brilliant, l imagined, again by the title, that it would be all about the troubles?

Here’s a trailer

Thank You, Logan for adding the clip.
It does look good and when the song, ‘Everlasting Love’ started to play, it was even better! I love the music from those times!
I like the actors Ciaran Hinds and Jamie Dornan but l didn’t know the actor writer, Kenneth Branagh was lrish, l thought he was Scottish!
I might need subtitles to understand what some of them are saying in the film!

Your welcome :slightly_smiling_face:
Yes sometimes it’s hard to understand different accents.
