I’m sure we went on that highway when we did our road trip back in 2002. Nothing for miles and miles. Must be strange if you’re driving on your own as we were chatting away all the time.

You don’t you have to wait until you’re in a service area. 
Must be the same lot that swooped down when my parents passed away. They seem to think they have a right to other peoples possessions
As for fast sale,same with a pal of mine he was offered asking price for his boarding kennels and cattery almost the day it went on sale.New people turning it into offices or summit

That kind of empty highway can make a road trip feel twice as long, especially when you’re travelling solo and there’s nobody around to share the random moments with. It would be fun to do a stretch like that in an old car too; Los Angeles classic car rentals from Peacock Rentals could make an ordinary scenic drive feel a bit more memorable, provided the route has plenty of places to stop along the way. And yes, keeping an eye out for suspicious hitchhikers sounds like very sensible advice!

It is not so much that but the cost of going over to the USA in the first place and getting through USA customs. The way things are at present is enough to put anyone off. Also they drive on the wrong side of the road. I did it on the way to Clearwater in Florida and never again they over and undertake when passing you as your driving

Absolutely Spitty, I would love to hear what happened to Danny.
If you are out there Danny, give us an update. I must have missed your posts first time round but have just looked back and wondered why, so exciting and interesting.
Also interesting to see all previous posters who are no longer with us for one reason or another.
