Been at it in the Craft Room again

Needed a couple of gift boxes.

This one is quite plain and has a matching card.

Brilliant. I’ve recently started making boxes but don’t know how to do the shape you did. Really clever.tabs xxx

Thank you.

Oooh! Boxes - they are so very pretty Tabby. I love the little images inside the lid too - what a nice touch! My box making skills are sadly lacking and I’m envious of your neat edges! :joy:

I used to watch videos on YouTube called the Posh Paper Lady, she makes boxes as well.

She is brilliant - can make lovely things from next to nothing. Favours a shop called Dollar Tree which sounds a bit like our Poundland.

My friend makes little origami gift boxes out of old greeting cards. They are very pretty. Have you ever done any?

No - but I would like to try - I don’t like throwing old cards away!

Because of the size of the greeting cards they’re quite small but good for things like jewellery and she puts sweets and chocs in them sometimes

She makes “Lucky Bugs” like these ones with glass pebbles and Googly eyes and then pops them in her greeting card boxes They make a nice little gift
