The Government ban on mobile phones in all public high school came into force today for term 4.

The ban has been well received even by students themselves. Individual schools will decide how to implement the ban, which will apply during classes, recess and lunchtimes. Some schools started the ban at the beginning of the year.

Students will still be allowed to carry their devices while travelling to and from school.

The government is trying to do this here too.

And so they should! M Phone’s are the scourge of the classroom.
