Auto tuning Freddie Mercury ??? The world’s gone mad !

This has been going on in general since '97 when AAT first introduced the enhancer. Before that some, including me, would deploy live ‘‘distortion + enhancement’’ before the preamp feed-in. It would allow great singing late in the evening when a tad tired and slightly below my best.
If you want to hear ATT’s early and IMO best application, then Cher’s 1998 ‘Believe’ shows it off at it’s best.

Yes i know about the Cher video and it was done to show how awful it was.
But they’re doing it to the old music that doesn’t need doing. In that video Fil said that he couldn’t find the eagles original version on YouTube before it was auto Tuned and Pitchcorected.
The Eagles are notorious for blocking their stuff on Youtube.
