divert a an astoroid that is heading dangerously close to earth ??
It was an asteroid collision that caused the extinction of the
dinosaurs millions of years ago so better get your Anderson shelter
ready ??

There IS an asteroid weighing over 1 million kilogramme heading
our way, and the Chinese ARE planning to launch about 20 of
their largest freight rockets in an attempt to divert the asteroid
from its present course as an experiment to see if it can be done ?
They believe this particular asteroid may be composed of rare
minerals that it may be possible to mine?
The chances of this asteroid hitting earth are more than one
in a thousand? or should that be LESS than one in a thousand??
