Handyman/contractor for us every time. Not only do they do the jobs faster than I could but they are usually better than me.
I still like painting walls and ceiling though; my only problem is I can’t hold a brush steady enough any more for cutting in around door and window frames.
I try to get someone in for any job, but they aren’t always reliable tradesmen.
Gardeners 3, never came back despite phone calls etc. My garden is now a wilderness. Plumbers, too busy, that problem righted itself luckily.
The only reliable person is my lovely computer man.

We are still getting phone calls to come and help them out with various tasks. I was round at my sons yesterday sorting his garden out, he pretends he knows nothing about plants. Do not tell him but I loved it. Anyway they have got a beautiful 4 month baby and they are really tired out, I remember how that felt.
