That is a real risk as Trump desperately needs more to distract from Iran and Epstein.
I don’t have the enthusiasm that I had for moon launches in the late 1960s but it is an interesting adventure none the less.
As for the launch? Seen one rocket launch, seen 'em all.
So cynical… but so true.
Incredible images and audio quality of the astronauts in their capsule. Could almost be in a Hollywood Studio.
Again.
Don’t say that … I don’t want to believe it was a hoax.
But I know the Mars mission was fake as I saw Capricorn One.
you think the lady astronaut is leaving her hair loose to prove they are really in space? I kept wondering why she hasn’t tied it back.

I predict a new hairstyle trend being launched, with demands for a “Koch”, lawsuits resulting in mispronunciation abounding.
I wonder who produced this one?..Steven Spielberg…?
I think it’s made up…I couldn’t see them through my binoculars last night… ![]()
They might have given Artemis a lick of paint though.
I agree Bruce!
The original Apollo colour scheme looks the business, iconic!
Artemis has a touch of the EasyJet about it ![]()
I keep seeing this trailer for a movie every time I switch on the news… ![]()
It’s about four astronauts going to the moon to look for lithium I think…I thought the special effects in ‘Deep Impact’ were far more believable…
they keep saying that the crew are up there because seeing with the human eye is better than the unmanned missions. But it’s obviously motivated politically to show that the US is first in the new race to colonise the moon.
Here’s my thoughts…

Indeed! I was thinking the same ![]()

Just read that the NASA led all American Artemis spacecraft that went to the moon and back was not all American. The European Space Agency was contracted to built the service module that sat behind the capsule the astronauts travelled in and safely landed back to earth. The service module kept the capsule on course, fed power and kept the astronauts alive. It was built by Airbus in Germany with parts coming from 10 European countries. But zero mention of this by NASA or the US coverage. Thanks.
It never was I think all their programs are built from parts put out to tender for the lowest contract. Certainly was true of the Apollo program and probably the space shuttle too.
