Thanks for the clarification pauline, I think when a person takes on responsibility, anger with folks can get replaced with amazement, not necessarily of the awesome variety.
I’m sadly less tolerant now Pauline, when young I was very tolerant but I’m not so now. I think I’ve seen and heard such a lot that I dont really care if people spout their opinions , if interesting I’ll chat and then say my thoughts but I’ve learned no one is right .
I’m less tolerant of human beings now at one time I would listen to strangers talk about themselves but my mind wanders if I’m not interested , but if that person is suffering and needs a kindness then I will say or do what I can , I’d not be unkind .
I can easily stand back and say nout…I can easily stand forward and say what I feel. Really does depend on the place, person, and subject. Nothing to do with being older I do not think…maybe I am more tolerant though as have less mental scars to contend with.
When younger I was quite a different person anyway…mostly because of the people in my life then.
I think I’m more tolerant now than when I was younger. Everything was very “black & white” back then, so I have a better understanding now I’m older, of people and situations.
Generally speaking I can get on with the majority of people I come across although I have to clench my fists when I am confronted by some of the jobsworths that we all have to deal with in life.
No I am not tolerant of those who pretend to know about what someone has posted and don’t actually have a clue. They feel they have to say something, usually to try and discount or disprove because of their ignorance. Often strangely enough single men are the worst in my opinion having observed over many years on different forums
