Are you a people watcher?

I have always been a people watcher. I think I would have loved to study Sociology.
Today I was watching a lady walking her dog on a leash. Dog stops walking. Does not want to go on.
Lady removes the leash. Dog immediately runs toward the road. Lady is aghast! :scream:
Tries to run after the dog. Lady is about 70. Made no headway. Sad but relieved face :disappointed_relieved:
Dog reaches the road, stops, looks both ways, A car is coming. Dog goes back to lady who immediately puts the leash back on. Relieved face :relieved:
Dog happily walks alongside the lady :dog2:

I don’t watch people unless I have a camera with me and think I can get away with a candid shot or two. I like to think the pics I take show them at their best, I try to be kind. People are, on the whole, not very interesting, but catch a candid spit second, a moment frozen in time, and it can be like something the eye doesn’t see, as you have extra time to study that moment.

Only if they are young attractive women.

I do enjoy people watching. Mostly in crowded place like train stations, shopping centres etc. I like seeing how they interact with each other, body language, cool bags they might have etc

They might have fresh fish in their cool bag, getting smellier by the minute.

Oh, haha!

I meant…umm…cute bags, interesting bags.

We don’t carry fish here, despite what you may have heard

I would probably follow her home like a weirdo, asking questions about how she made it, what it feels like, and can she show me how to make one of my own!

I bet she’s got untold points on her clubcard

Going by the expression on her face, I think she might have forgotten her clubcard today!

Yes, and the pound coin for her trolley!

It took her 40 mins to peel herself off the car seat when she arrived for the photoshoot. Doubt she’ll be going back for the clubcard or pound coin anytime soon…

I prefer snail watching, you can watch the same one all day long without having to move.

Smiling here… thanks for the giggle

I love people watching… I sit in cafes and listen to their conversations sometimes (okay, bad me, I know)… and they form the basis for some writing I do. Great place to find characters…

I love watching people, and listening to their conversations as they do not talk quietly these days.
One time in a village pub in Wales sat a couple who were talking, clearly they were having an affair, when she stated that they should not have came to this pub as it is a bit too close to home.
Within a few minutes a group of young men walked in and one went up to her and said hello there, cut along story short he was her son`s best friend out with the rugby team, her face was a picture.

Yes watching is interesting but listening even more so.
