Are there any shows you watch because they are awful?

Another really awful one was :
Love thy neighbour.

It’s only redeeming feature was that the wives had more sense than the men.

I used to watch a few of The God Slot shows, that were buried at the tail end of the Freeview Channels. There was one black preacher who used to run up and down spouting a load of gibberish, and the people in the congregation, mostly black, shouting, and jumping up and down. Amazing how folks can fall for all that flim flam. :astonished: :open_mouth:

Another show that could never be made today.
This reminds me of ‘Mind your Language’
That seems to be considered racist these days.
But I liked it

Lost in Space…loved it to bits!
I suppose there was a bit of a wobbly Crossroads thing as far as the sets were concerned but it didn’t matter.
Times change of course but there’s always the odd dodgy character knocking about.

The Apprentice. Because the contestants are so incredibly bad it is funnier than any comedy show.

Not sure if this counts - but I can name a lot of shows which started good, but ended up awful and only continued watching them just to see how bad they get and how they end.

Ha! Summer, l am so pleased you mentioned Love Island first. I was plucking up courage to admit it!
I just looked in on a series of it about two years ago as there had been a lot of publicity about it. Now, l watch every series!
Yes it’s rubbish but l love to watch how people interact with each other, not any sexual stuff which hasn’t really been in the series that l have watched.

This present series seems a bit scripted but it’s still watchable. I can’t stick Olivia with her silly pouty lips plus she’s not a very nice person.
I preferred the last series to this one as there were lots of strong characters in it.

short answer: no
why: lifetime too precious

Just discovered a show called ‘Medical Police’.
A comedy about a virus taking over the world.
Was on in 2020!
So bad it is brilliant.
Humour in the style of ‘Police Squad-in Color’.
A Netflix show.
