Just back from Tescoās and planning to visit youngest daughter later, which we didnāt manage yesterday because of the awful weather.

My daughter is coming for lunch later with Danny my little Grandson as he has a half day staff training day todayā¦Iām trying to think of an April Fool prank to play on him ā¦Iāll think of something

So cold, only got up to 18Ā°today, last night it dropped to 15Ā° and I had to get a blanket at 2am, not happy but it is supposed to warm up a bit on Sunday.
Had to drag my garbage bin in then wandered down to the Vietnamese shop, (now run by a couple of young Chinese kids) to buy a dozen wholemeal rolls and got wet feet of course.
Spent a lot of the day messing about with Openscad, very frustrating at times, a missing ā;ā had me completely flummoxed for far too long. Eventually printed a key tag for my camper, was pleased with that.

I am concerned about some plants that have come into leaf early, they wonāt like the heavy frost we have had 2 nights running.
I am waiting for Waitrose to deliver then I will make a batch of vegetarian chilli.

I have just done the online food shop, so feeling very organised now. I also need to look for my bike lock, so I can keep the bike outside rather than indoorsā¦I have bumped into it so many times now, it needs to go!

Was snowing massive flakes when I drove to work, stopped now, Iām glad, as most of you know I donāt do cold and snow.
I came into work this morning and my colleague told me something that really upset me and made me cry!
He said 'Bev, I have something to tell you, I havenāt been straight with you, been hiding something as I didnāt want to tell you but today is my last day, I have a new job.
I said, behave, you are having me onā¦he said no Bev, itās the truth.
I could feel myself welling up and got really upset, then my boss shouted, give up Paulā¦then he shouted APRIL FOOL . Grrrrrr scuse me whilst I kill my colleague.
Well and truly fell for that, I was so upset as we are such a great small team.
Oh well, at least he knows how much I love him lol.
Just Dads today, no other plans.

Sunny here, but bitter cold with snow flurries again.
Put the dogs coats on them to go out this morning.
A quick visit to the nurse at the surgery, then I want to return something I bought at H & B yesterday. I also must read the water meter and send that in.
Doubt I will get the washing dry outside today, so looks like an indoor job. I really donāt like wet washing hanging about indoors though.

@Kazz Hi Kazz I do a variation of this recipe.
I like chilli hot so add a couple of fresh red chillies and a bit of extra cumin as well
It is really important to āsealā fry off all the vegetables so they stay separate and firm and dice them quite small.
To freeze I just portion it off into containers as soon as it is cool then freeze it.
