Another retired member here (this year) did my time working and miss certain aspects of it like banter, and the more creative aspects of my work.

Glad im retired now, no pressure, doing what i want, rather than what im told told to do.

I miss the people, and the monthly pay cheque, but that’s about all.

Thanks for everyone’s replies. I’m wondering if this forum should really be called ‘Over 60s’ or ‘Over 70s’, I guess I’m in a sort of no man’s land , a bit too old for the office and a bit too young for this site. (sigh…I will keep looking for my place)

That’s rather ageist currantbun. I’m mid fifties and have no problem chatting to people of all ages on here.

Aren’t currants small dried fruits and a bun is slang for ugly? I started work at 15 and retired at 57, and I appreciate the workers who help to pay for my retirement…thank you.
