I am painting on board or canvas which I find easier than paper .
The trouble is everything is propped up everywhere collecting dust .
Can anyone suggest a way of hanging these boards without framing ?
I don’t want to frame these just yet but I want to keep them off the floor .
The boards look like this I think they are hard board or plywood .
I thought about some sort or rings that could be superglued on the back but haven’t found any .
Or maybe a narrow shelf but this involves Mr M and I don’t know if I am going to live that long
Marge suggests that board or canvas can be mounted in a ‘floating frame’, or canvas can be hung independently though I think you should continue the painting as appropriate over the edges. Hope that’s helpful.
Thank you both.
I had to look up floating frames I had never heard of them they do look good and would be a solution .
I was actually looking for a quicker albeit temporary solution Inorder to keep them off the floor.I can stick hooks in the camas frames .
Small blobs of Araldite with a couple of small rings set in it (perhaps quarter inch key rings)? Set a few cm from the edge of the board say two thirds or three quarters of the height up from the bottom?
