Another one here, although only there 7 years on and off
First was AllJoinOn, that closed, then Buzz, that closed, this time i found myself signing up to no less than 4 sites, all more or less samesy samesy as the next
There are plenty of refugees about all over the place, just don’t let the regulars here know we are refugees, although, i’ve heard Rwanda is nice this time of year

Got to say though, i never found Buzz cliquey, whether in the chatroom for quiznight with LS, or on the forums, then, i never found AllJoinOn cliquey either…

I was on Buzz for soooo many years, like 14 years, i didn’t think it was as bad as some make out, albeit when Mike died it took a down ward trend. I was mainly involved with meets in the north west, and did meet so many great people in and around the Manchester area and Chester region. There are, as with this group, serious and not so serious people, think you can tell i’m not of the serious group, i don’t talk about me and family and friends and ailments, and what i’m doing, groans and all. I’ve always run two groups, have been on over 50’s well before any decline in Buzz, and i havent changed my screen name like so many others, i’m here for all to see, i have nothing to hide

Guilty as charged. I was on Buzz, on and off, for many years. I was never that enamoured with it and stayed away from cliques. Truth be told, I don’t really miss it since it closed.

Just to add, on most Senior Forums, there are ex-buzzers.
I myself visit about four Senior Forums and run into Buzzers
on all of them. Some same profile names, others new names,
it is nice to say hello and how are you. We each have sites
we may have loved being members of, and those sites we
have not loved being members of. Some have had quality
moderators and others surely have not. SO, this forum is
a great one, there are others, new ones will still eventually
sprout up over years to come. If I happen to recognize you

I have been on the closed Experience Project( they announced closure just after I joined),Relate to that,Buzz50,at least three other places I can’t remember the name of and there is one forum that only has five of us left.
