Started last night with Nicola Walker playing the lead as a Norwegian DI in the newly formed Maritime Homicide Unit of Police Scotland.
All I can say is, it was Nicola playing herself playing herself. No trace of a Norwegian or Scottish accent from her. She just played the role exactly as she poled her roles in Spooks, Unforgotten, and Last Tango In Halifax. Will I watch it again? Maybe, but only if there’s nothing else to watch.
Percy, After seeing your thread, l downloaded Annika and have just watched it.
Mmmn, l’m not sure about it. Especially, when she stops, turns to the viewers and talks to us. I found that a bit annoying, so l fast forwarded those bits.

In watching this. I missed a new series on ITV at 9pm called, ‘Undeniable’.
Thank Goodness for ITV+1 !!
Edited to say… l think ‘Undeniable’ is a repeat as it states online it was screened in 2014. I probably saw it then!!

I loved it.
Now I thought those “asides to camera” were the best bits.
I can usually watch anything that has Nicola Walker in but i’m not too sure about this. Early days yet? Maybe.
