Faggots and peas aren’t Welsh. I used to eat them all the time when I was a kid at my gran’s in Cheltenham. though they didn’t look as sloppy as those in your photo.

You know … I had to think for a moment what I associate as a Welsh national dish or some food, apart from leeks, associated with Wales.
I can’t think of one.
There must be some though.

That Bara Brith looks quite similar to the fruitcake my grandmotther used to make. I had to eat a slice of it every Christmas. I didn’t like it much, but it was ok.
