And yes , I’ve started a few and commented in a few different areas. But I haven’t jumped into any that people talk about their own government because it is considered impolite to bad mouth any government that does really effect oneself. It is considered rude/impolite to discuss Government, religion, sex, wealth in public unless it is made public and anything discussed here is public. So if people want to discuss impolite subjects, so be it.

But there is nothing wrong with ones history. They say African American all the time, which is true but it also true to just say American. I hit back when I’m referred to a European American, I always say no, I’m an American, Scandinavian American.
There are so many things I can say about Trump that I don’t agree with but it’s doesn’t concern foreigners what my political opinion is about my President are.
Bottom line, we only had two choices and my choice was what each candidate brought with them. Their history, their experience. Their political party had nothing to do with it. There were others that were going to get my vote on both side of the party line but on the Republican side everyone dropped out and on the Democrats side, Harris was appointed, that did not go through the Democrats candidates selection process, in which I had my eye on two different candidates.

Perhaps Trump closed his eyes to reflect on the deceased. People can sometimes shut their eyes when listening to a moving piece of music. It doesn’t mean they have gone to sleep.

Sleepy Don must surely be the most appropriate new title for Trump. The number of times Sleepy Don has been caught napping is significantly more often than Biden was ever seen with his eyes closed. It is also perfect that the this new title for Trump can appear on a thread called America is Waking Up. Sleepy Don is not waking up.
I think you are missing the key point - Trump has exceeded the frequency of being caught napping. He gets to be crowned the new sleepy, so Sleepy Don is his rightful title.

Here we are then for the frail of understanding. The GOP fan base of dopes latched onto the Trump name calling of Biden. Trump noted a few times Biden appeared to have nodded off at events and so gave him the title Sleepy Joe. This became a very popular name by the GOP supporting dopes (dopes because calling names is not the same as coming up with better policies).
Now we have Trump appearing to nod off any many events - more times than Biden. So it turns out that the title “sleepy” is much more appropriate for Trump. Hence Sleepy Don. Another and different or even original & witty name calling would not work in this instance. It has to be the taking of the same title from one president to the next. Otherwise no point is made.
