Impressive … that guy has got… courage.
I was suprised to find he’s 40 years old. He must be dead fit. His arms must kill him after doing that.

I’ve seen this photo often! 1932 atop a skyscraper in New York City!
Every time I view it, I can’t imagine being comfortable enough to have a drink and a cigarette on break, then back to work.

Talk about earning your work’s wages!

Yes I’ve seen this picture before too!
It truly is mind boggling. I really couldn’t imagine being in that situation.
It seems that there were surprisingly only five fatalities (recorded) while constructing The Empire State Building, more during erecting The Chrysler Building. Quite an interesting subject when you begin to look into it.

Some very interesting stuff about climbing El Capitan in Yosemite National Park
concerning Alex Honnold’s mother…

The oldest woman to climb El Capitan is Dierdre Wolownick, mother to Alex Honnold, who was 66 at the time when she first became the oldest woman to climb El Capitan in 2017
El Capitan - Wikipedia.

Alex Honnold was the first to free solo El Cap entirely on June 3, 2017. It took him 3 hours and 56 mins to climb 2,900 ft (880 m) via the Freerider route.

What an amazing woman … she didn’t start climbing until in her 50’s.

Now you mention it … what about taking ‘comfort breaks’ ?
Just nipping back down Boss, be back soon …

And on a windy day! People must just have had more courage and guts then … we’re a load of wimps now aren’t we.
