When they touch it/ walk on it - lights flash all over it - until the battery wears out!

Aww they had a fun day! The mat with lights…are the cats supposed to chase and catch them? Interactive kind of thing? I might get one for my daughters cat

Yes - that is the general idea. Willow played for a while but was some bored with it. Nemo, on the other hand, earned his nickname - ‘techno cat’ - by throwing it around the room, sliding underneath it to see how it worked, and wore himself out trying to catch the lights! The battery is sealed - with very strong velcro - in the little pouch you see in the picture - so the cats cannot harm themselves with it. One of my friends bought it for them from ‘Pets at Home’ …
