A petition asking for another General Election

Exactly but our Tory press likes to promote the “Starmer in crisis” noise. What else can they do? The opposition is a small, divided, ineffective party. So the press bleats from the sidelines.

Anyway, get yer name down on the protest lads… :+1:t5:

Well how hard can flying a plane be?
You just pull back the stick to go up…
And push it forward to go down…
And just make sure you are going fast enough to defy gravity…

I think you have perfectly described Liz Truss’ economic thinking.

I think you are being a bit hard on her Lincs, I don’t think she was given enough time or support for her plans to be realised. Liam Hannigan the economist off GB News thinks her manifesto was good. I think she and Kwasi Kwarteng were got at by a much bigger power than the British Government after Kwasi’s hasty visit to New York with the IMF…They were made to fall on their swords and an unelected PM (Rishi Sunak) was the replacement.
After all, the whole of the Conservative party voted Truss in to number 10, so they must have had confidence in her manifesto.

Seriously? The woman that gave the “Cheese” speech?

I used to be deluded, now everyone else’s is

The main political parties in the UK are ruled by the W.E.F./Globalists.

Thank goodness!

Halligan might be supporting the ideas in the manifesto because of his Russian ties.

I think you are clutching at straws Annie…
Perhaps it’s because he was born under the Taurus star sign?

He lived in Russia in the 90s, apparently shared a flat with Dominic Cummings. He seems to have been influential in their early post-Soviet economic development and still frequently visits. According to one source he had most of his money invested there in the past. He’s obviously very accomplished and well-educated, but I don’t see him as someone with a neutral PoV on the British economy. You have to wonder how many Russian sympathisers are stirring up our politics here.

It begs the question who do we believe Annie?
When the media backed by the establishment want to discredit someone, you might as well consider them deceased…

Well I prefer to believe the financial markets OGF. “Trussonomics” crashed the pound and led to offloading of UK bonds. We have never quite recovered. There is a lack of trust in what Britain could do next. The economy needs stability, not reckless gambling.

The trickle down effect might have been good for this minion, we will never know now, self interest doesn’t always mean reaching for the stars. let someone else do that

Hello Rachel, how is MKJ? Still on the Popcorn

Just dissolve Parliament and let King Charlie rule as god intended.

That’s a bit harsh.Asking the old boy to start work at his age.

He’s done bugger all for most of his life, time to earn his keep.
