I see a lot on my walks but they don’t stay still for long.

When I want to photograph Fairy Wrens I go to the place where they always are and set my camera on a tripod and wait.
Hours can go by before I get some shots.
This shot I only waited half an hour.
I have waited up to two and a half hours to get some shots.
Such as these.

My BH has spent many hours waiting for one to pose.She has finally got some now.On one occasion she got so excited she pushed the wrong button and turned the camera off.

I have done that. So frustrating. Perfect opportunity comes along and I push the off button.

I never heard of them, but if we had them here in the states, it would be worth sitting on my deck for hours to catch a glimpse!
