A couple of early observations re Melbourne

Yesterday I was almost caught in a rain shower. (without protection). Today I carried an umbrella. I noticed I am the only person carrying an umbrella.
The shopping centre car park bays seem rather small. Even the distance between the rows of cars is too small. I watched a car reverse out of a bay, it had to back and fill 3 times to make its escape.

I’m surprised you have an umbrella.I didn’t think Aussies used them. I’m the only one around here, everyone else walks around in T shirts and shorts regardless of the weather. :grinning:

What!!

You don’t own at least one Bunnings umbrella? Are you trying to destroy the Aussie way of life?

In Perth, the umbrella doubles as a parasol. Vital to keep the scorching sun off my pate. :slightly_smiling_face:

Excuse me. I never purchase products with visible signage.
Certainly will not buy a Bunnings branded umbrella. :slightly_smiling_face:
I have a blue and white brolly, in Perth.

I thought Australians to keep out of the rain sheltered under a Kangaroo. The Skoda we bought has an umbrella in a compartment under the passenger seat.

I very rarely use a Brolly now , I sometimes wear my rain hat or I have a hooded coat , The thing with Brollies is a gust of wind will blow it inside out.I have 3 of these Hats

They’re $10, I’m happy to carry their signage for such a well made umbrella at that price.

When I am out walking and it looks like rain I carry a small folding brolly I bought at Big W for $10

I walk round with the minimum of clothes on in the rain, so I dry out quickly…

And there are some golf tees in the glove box…something for your balls…
