My milk comes in glass bottles - plain silver foil top for full fat - red and silver foil top for semi-skimmed - 79p per pint - delivered fresh to my doorstet and worth every penny.

You must live near a farm. It’s the distribution costs that add to the price.

There are still a few farms around who supply the dairy - which is approximately 10 miles away. Since the rise in fuel prices the milkman charges 30p per week for delivery. I think that is reasonable.
