92 wins for Lewis Hamilton - making F1 history!

Nothing wrong with Lewis - he’s named after 2 places from up here…

Whether he’s the greatest or not - he’s done this country proud.

If he stuck to driving instead of politicking then maybe yes. Personally, I think the bloke is a complete turd.

:-p Don’t mince your words Judd.

I think he’s a bit of a prat too … and IMO not one of the greats when it comes to drivers.
The days of Hunt, Senna and Schumacher …now they were the chaps with skill, a sense of competition and charisma.

Question is, do you think Verstappen is a bit of a prat too?

Man and machine, Machine and man, we will never know, unlike a Boxer.

I’ll second that Judd…:023::023::023::023:
Who cares what colour the drivers are, we don’t need it thrusting down our throats at the start of every race. I’d boo them when they gave it the knee if I was a spectator…:mad2:

You must be watching a diifferent formula to me Minxy!
Are you sure your not watching Moto GP??
How mahy races has Hamilton wonnthis year, followed by his
side kick Botas in second place?? Both driving Mersedes??
Their cars are the reason at the moment for their success !!
Put them in a Mclaren or a Renault and see where they come?
Imo its all down to money! And mercedes seem to have plenty of
it?? Money and Motor Sport politics will kill F1 if they dont control
both o them?
Try watching Moto and you will see real motor racing!!!

 Donkeyman!

Except excitement Besoeker, its very rarely you get more than two
shyte or bust moments in a race!?
Once the start is over its usually all over imo???
Moto is tops for excitement !!!

Donkeyman!

We have a special section for Brexit Minxy?
Its called the brexit section!!

Donkeyman!

It could be made more exiting by not having a safety car, like in the old days?

A bit more like Moto GP, hey Donkeyman.

No, I am watching the same F1 as you are. Agreed Mercedes have the best car having won the Constructers title lots of times but from where they started to where they are now is commendable. McLaren and Ferrari have work to do. Red Bull may soon get their wings if they drop Albon. Gazly would do a better job of it or Hulkenberg.

Good post if I may say so.

You seem to know your F1 Minxy l must say?
Well at least the drivers names!
Unfortunately for Red Bull they are reliant for engines on other
manufacturers ! And not too long ago it was mercedes that supplied

the engines for Red Bull ! BUT when Red Bull became a threat to
mercedes on the track, they stopped supplying the mercedes
engines to them! Leaving Red Bull without an engine??
Very sporting eh!!
Red Bull now run a honda engine, which is not fully developed yet
but Red Bull is getting this engine up to scratch slowly as can be
seen from race results recently??
BUT,now Honda may be pulling out of F1 due to the immense
expense of making & developing F1 engines nowdays? This, if it
happens will leave several teams without engines and so unable
to race??
Soon mercedes will be racing themselves around all the new
circuits whilst the rest start a completely series using the older
race tracks??
All due to excessive costs!
Its cheaper to fly to the moon !!

Donkeyman!

Surprise! I’m not just a pretty face.
Red Bull won’t get a Mercedes engine - that’s for sure. Perhaps a Renault engine now that Honda has announced its exit?
Racing Point is coming up the rear fast and it’s nice to see McLaren putting in better times.
Not always about the car, it’s got to do with the driver too e.g Verstappen and Albon and Leclerc and Vettel - same car, different driver.

You may definitely say so

Yes, l agree the driver matters, and Hamilton is good driver! But he
has been flattered by the car imo?
Any of the drivers you mentioned would do equally well in a
mercedes, BUT would hamilton do as well as them in their cars??
BTW, Have you watched Moto??

Donkeyman!

Yes Donkeyman, I have watched MotoGP as well and you’re right, they are neck and neck, a few millimeters apart. Thrilling to watch!

Vettel is a great driver Minx, Ferrari have fallen out with him and have not signed him up for next season and have treated him shoddily. In return I think he has lost the spirit to give his best, especially as Leclerc gets the preference for the grid and innovations to the car, while Vettel is ignored.

I didn’t care much for Vettel once upon a time, but when he was awarded a controversial time penalty a while back, which cost him the win in favour of Hamilton. He swapped the numbered boards round, putting the first place board in front of his car, which I thought demonstrated his sense of humour and something that I admired in him.

Or putting a small hole in one of Hamilton’s tyres?
