The first album I ever purchased because I loved the album & not because it was a pop group, Lord Sutch & Heavy Friends, which was released in 1970. I did not know then, but it has become a album as famous for Led Zepplin as David (Lord) Sutch.

Artists on the album included Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, John Bonham & Jimmy Hendrix’s bass player, Noel Redding. I did not know it then, but I would later become a friend, with someone who was a friend, member of Davids band & a DJ on radio Sutch.
