6 Nations Ireland 20- 32 England

That’s one in the eye for Varadkar

I wanted Ireland to win… Boo Hoo…

Wash yer mouth out Arty…:018:

I’ll deal with this…

Out you go Arty

Hopefully once this EU malarci is over there will be no more playing these teams including football

Yep i’ll 2nd that…

It is the 6 Nations rugby tournament, which was originally the 4 nations… England, Scotland, Wales & Ireland, back in 1883. Surely you don’t think we should be as difficult as the EU in letting Italy and France leave!

Don’t forget Ireland

I can guarantee that Ireland won’t want to leave!

Not an option unless of course they do as we say over leaving the EU our game our rules

What are you suggesting? The tournament is the 6 nations , not the 6 EU countries & 5 of those nations were playing long before the EU was created.

Groan…

Politics rearing its ugly head in this thread too?

It’s mean’t to be a bit o’ banter between rival teams, the same banter and friendly rivalry that’s been going on for decades. There’s no trouble between rival crowds at matches, all are there to enjoy the game and mingle well together.

Perhaps we can follow the same ethos here and not get nasty?

Well said Judd…:023:

Yes well said,

The one thing myself and my Scottish colleagues and freinds can agree on is the absolutely glorious sporting spectacle that is 6 nations rugby.

Where every match is critical and anything is possible .

Easily the best international sporting competition in existence.

You know I’m English don’t you ?

I’ve been to Paris four times and every time Wales were well beaten and it was freezing cold.Sacre bleu!

rugby, what is that again?

It is a game played by men with odd shaped balls

As a first aide for a rugby team, I can confirm that Judd!

It’s a wonderful game played by tough men and women. Unlike football, even the supporters get on well together. I’ve been attending rugby matches at all levels from local to World Cup all my life and I’ve never seen any aggro between rival supporters - loads of banter, but no violence!

I used to watch rugby one week and football the next. Both had the same amount of spectators. At the football there were dozens of coppers monitoring the crowd,at the rugby there was just one.( in the car park directing the traffic.)
