Hello Everybody; did anybody watch the 2026 Winter Olympics ??
Not me but Australia did OK apparently
On the last day of competition we had people come 5th and 10th in something.
…and we beat New Zealand in the medal table Hooray!

Yes. Didn’t see all of it, but it was nice to see GB come away at least with a few gongs. Good effort all round.
Looking forward to watching the Para Olympics in a couple of week’s time.

I watch Some Canada Ice Hockey Team ,might be going to see Ice Hockey in my City .

I looked in quite often in the first week, once I figured out the rules of curling I really enjoyed it.

No, I didn’t watch any, Don’t like Winter sports. Was annoyed the programs I watch were messed up.

The Japs put in a good result too, but I was disappointed with Sweden and Switzerland, I thought they would have done better.
Perhaps with Global Warming the winter games might be a thing of the past, like skating on the Thames.

I enjoy the Winter Olympics more than the Summer.
I adore the Olympic figure skating. It requires such skill and precision. They make it look so effortless.
The skiing is always fun to watch.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Annie, the track and field events in the summer Olympics are what the Olympics are all about, throw in some boxing and weightlifting and that will be my few weeks viewing all sewn up.
None of this ‘come dancing’ stuff…

It’s not about me Annie, there must be something for everyone, it’s just my personal opinion.
About what I prefer to watch, I need Gymnastics in the Olympics so I can go and make a cup of tea occasionally.

I liked the figure skating best, some really amazing performances. I remember watching Torvill and Dean, they were great.

I suppose the figure skating isn’t too bad, but there’s got to be question about people throwing themselves down an icey tube on nothing more than a prayer mat and winning by 1/1000th of a second. Isn’t it just gravity? Or a roller coaster on ice?
