We had a lovely holiday in India a few years ago and found the Indian people were very friendly and welcoming.

Had there been no war the entire world would have turned swastika because that was his plan. So there would be no escape. The whole point was to squash him and ruin his plan for world domination. It wasn’t to save this or that country but the world. I mean honestly he didn’t need any excuse, in fact he used the sort of examples you cite as a way to persuade nations to part with their freedom.
It would appear that people with such views just don’t get it. Nazism would implode.

By the time nazi ideas and regimes evolved to something less crazy the Jewish population would have been long anhihilated. After all how long did the Soviet system last? He came this close to realising his mad dictator dream. He seriously underestimated the Brits.

It was one thing to keep France under the jackboot. Apart from a few resistance fighters, the vast majority of them submitted easily and, in addition, the Vichy ‘government’ very happily allied themselves with Hitler.
But that’s the French for you.
If Hitler’s ‘Reich’ had been allowed to extend a great deal further, I’m sure that he would have found it very difficult to keep control of everyone, especially the British and the Russians.
There were only a limited number of SS and Gestapo.
He seriously misjudged Brits. He had some sort of romanticised view.
Most of the Jewish population of Germany and especially Poland would have been murdered but there’s a lot more Yiddles than in Europe. That is one thing that should be overlooked.
But the implosion of Nazism would have taken place in about five years. Nazism was very much less popular than the USSR.

Had the soviet system been popular Stalin would have opened the borders on day one.
He made a mistake which was fighting a war on two fronts.
If he had anti-soviet forces would have swept in. More than anything the West were scared witless that any form of communism would be successful - especially the Americans.

He was relying on France and ltaly and the so called neutral
nations to deal with us ??
He had plans also to get Egypt and lndia etc to rise up against us ??
The French were like UK & brexit! Totally divided, and so couldn’t be
relied on by either side??

Russia did for Hitler’s war with Russian blood, the allies did with America’s factories and brave fighting men.
