This afternoon I’ve been replacing the mil bathroom sink and fitting a vanity unit and new sink,a fairly simple job removing the sink and pedastal and putting the new unit in, faffing about with cutting the unit to fit and working out how the plumbing is going to go, anyway, job all done but boy, don’t I ache…!!, I used to do jobs like this in my stride but , I guess I’m getting old……

Nothing quite like a handyman. Please tell me you’re a man otherwise I apologize. I’m doing a lot of that lately.

@Primus1 , Nothing worse than getting down and poking about under
a sink unit and seeing what you are doing, and then trying to get up again
completely knackers me now days,( 86yrs old ) .
If you are younger than me Primus l can only promise you that it gets
worse !!

Yes, I’m still a boy of nearly 62
@Primus1 , Well at your present age l was felling trees and chopping
firewood! With occasional spells of roof repairs and adding extensions
to the house etc !
I also maintained 5kms of dirt road and cooked breakfast for up to
ten people! I did this till l was about 77 yrs old !
No wonder l’m knackered now ??
