When down in somerset at the caravan i look at them for ages,i find it very therapeutic.
Standing watching last night and noticed distant pinpoint multi-coloured lights high in the south-eastern sky. They darted around by what looked like a quarter of an inch in any direction but stayed in the same place other than that. Might have been my eyeballs jumping around but everything else looked static.
I do from time to time and really should do it more often.
It was something I used to love to do when camping. A crackling smokey fire pit, a plastic glass or three of red wine and just ponder.
Unfortunately there’s a lot of light pollution in the highly populated south east but on the occasions I get to visit somewhere more remote… wow what a difference!
I do it quite a bit. I love Sci-fi so I always look up and wonder whats out there and if I’ll live long enough to see anything happen like humans landing on Mars or aliens visiting.
I do sometimes look for the space station, ISS, if it’s in our orbit & not cloudy.
A Mars a day helps you work rest and play
