Welcome to the forum Anise.
I had to look it up. I haven’t seen it before. Is that from Notting Hill?
Welcome to the forum, Anise! Hope you enjoy your stay.
Thanks!
Yes Notting Hill. My favourite light-hearted feel good film for a rainy Sunday afternoon!
Thanks for the welcome

Sgt Barnes - Platoon
@Chilliboot , that movie, Platoon, was one of my all time favorites, bur haunted me for months. War stories tear me up mind and soul! I guess I’ll have to watch it again as it’s been decades now since I took it all in and made myself a wreck!
Yes, there are some very moving scenes in the film. Oliver Stone uses Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings throughout to great effect! I saw it on the big screen in The West End with my late wife when it was first released.
Another of his films, Salvador is particularly brutal. I’ve only seen it once years ago on VHS, that’s probably enough!!
Oh, PLEASE go away. Please go away! I don’t want to answer anymore of your questions.
We’re sorry to bother you at a time like this, Mrs. Twice. We would have come earlier, but your husband wasn’t dead then.
Police Squad.
“Here’s Johnny!” (The Shining) real scary film.
" Redrum, redrum, redrum", etc., etc !
“That 'll be the day.”
It even inspired Buddy Holly
