What is your

Promises of what exactly:-)

Seriously? Well, whatever does it for you

There’s just nothing else like it from what I recall.

I used Castrol R in big four-strokes which is where I recall the aroma from. I’ve never seen speedway live, usually on TV or videos like this one which brings back some memories :

Yes, seriously. Everyone to their own in everything, no problems that way!

Back to the OP, apologies for the interruption.

The one fragrance, for men, that I know is Aramis. I have just one bottle of Aramis aftershave left so just as well it lasts for ages and ages. Does anyone else know this one?

Baz, I used to be an avid supporter of Wolverhampton Wolves speedway team. Every Friday night from spring to autumn would see me and my mates on the terraces of Monmore Green shouting and singing our heads off in support of the riders in black and gold. I even met my ex there one terrible Friday evening after she had had a row with her then finance’s parents :043:

Some of my favourite times used to be stock car racing at Harringay Stadium in north London.
Good days they were!

  1. Fresh Tar
  2. Perfume ‘Ghost’
  3. Perfume ‘Flash’

…years of happy companionship…

Get outta town Baz46! That’s my all time favourite men’s fragrance! It just hits all the right notes

I’ll have to try those

Since EVERYONE asked me, my favourite fragrance is without a doubt Hypnotic Poison by Dior

Well it hasn’t brought me a lot of luck, perhaps I’ve just been ‘wafting’ it around the wrong people!

hypnotic poison

I remember the diesel fumes in the back of the transit up the M1 on my first gig.

You most definitely have!

Nooo DooD not THAT kind of Hypnotic Poison

Oh I am soooo with you there, Meg - and their breath as well. :049:

It may be outdated, but Tokyomilk Dark 90 La Vie La Mort is what I love for a night out. (Not many of those since early 2020!) Victoria’s Secret discontinued Grapefruit Basil Body Mist is my daytime go-to. I have 1 full bottle left! Also like a rollerball perfume my sister bought me years ago. Unfortunately, I misplaced it a couple months ago and the name has been worn off for ages…

Predictable and boring I suppose Chanel No5 I have always loved it. Sometimes Givenchy l’interdit.

I love the smell of freshly cut grass…creosote ( I think its banned now in the UK)…and Clinique “Happy” perfume.

Sawing pine logs.

Used to be Allure, currently Narciso poudre. Had a sample from a magazine once, and I finally got around to getting some.
Because I often don’t wear make up these days, it just feels nice to have a spritz.
