The kinks ,going to see the theatre play of their rise to fame tomorrow.
In my yoof I saw the Kinks a couple of times, initially when they were nobody and the opening act in a one night stand at the Dover Odeon then later after several hits at the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone

My favourite track is We Shall Wear Midnight.
It brings a tear to my eye every time.
