Waving Hello from Across the Atlantic

Only if you do it in a pair of ‘Budgie Smugglers’ Longdogs…:shock::shock:

Absolutely! Plus, you hair looks a lot better when you are finished.

Here’s what it looked like this morning. It was the first surfable surf we’ve had in two weeks, and the water was quite warm. I shall spare you the photo of my hair…

I had to look that one up… yikes!

We call that form of swimwear something altogether different here. This will give you some idea…

Hello - and welcome.

A very warm welcome to the forum .

I’m sorry Surfermom, but I can’t swim in anything else. Was a time when it was the normal type of swimwear here and everyone wore them. I just can’t be doing with loose clothing in the water…:cool::cool:

As demonstrated here by Me and my Mom…

I love this, OGF! You were fit as a fiddle and could certainly get away with that look! Oh, and nice knees :-p. How lovely your mother is with that elegant figure and beautiful red hair. BTW, nice wave behind you; I would take off and go right on it. Anyhow now that I have utterly digressed, I am with you about loose fitness attire - all that flapping and chafing  - so it’s compression gear year round even though my days of being able to get away with it are numbered, being half-centuried and all :-D.

Hello mom (we calls 'em mum over here for some reason, probably phonetics.)

I am only just “this side” of the Atlantic being about 5km inland and can actually see the sea from parts of my property. (Fruity stands on shed roof and waves to mom across the ocean). I love the USA having visited it and worked there many times, and made a lot of friends there as well.

It’s a pleasure to meet you.
